A $100 deposit is required to secure your reservation.
The remaining balance may be paid anytime prior to your trip or on the day of your charter.
Full refund issued if a trip is canceled due to weather or unsafe conditions, as determined by Myrtle Beach Surf Fishing Adventures, LLC.
Deposits allow us to properly prepare equipment, bait, and logistics to ensure a premium experience.

My name is John Shytle, and I’ve spent years studying and fishing the beaches of the South Carolina coast. Surf fishing isn’t just something I do — it’s something I’ve dedicated myself to understanding, refining, and teaching.
I’m a husband, a father of five, and a firefighter with 26 years of service. Discipline, preparation, and staying calm under pressure aren’t just fishing principles for me — they’re values I’ve lived by throughout my career. That same mindset carries over into every trip I guide.
From traditional surf casting to advanced drone bait deployment, I focus on precision, safety, and responsible fish handling. Every reel is scaled, every rig is built with intention, and every trip is planned around tides, weather, and real-time conditions — not guesswork.
I also host surf fishing seminars and educational events, sharing knowledge on gear setup, drag systems, bait presentation, and conservation-focused practices. Whether you’re brand new to surf fishing or chasing a true fish of a lifetime, my goal is to help you learn, improve, and experience that unforgettable moment when the drag starts screaming.
